Are your zones carrying equal work?
A takt plan only flows if every zone holds roughly the same amount of work — otherwise one zone sets the pace and the rest wait. Paint your floor with work intensity, cut it into zones, and see the balance instantly.
Paint Your Floor
Step 1: with Paint work selected, click-drag to mark how much work each part of the floor carries (light / medium / heavy — think fit-out density, not floor area). Step 2: switch to Paint zones and colour in your zone boundaries — or let Auto-zone cut balanced zones for you.
Zone Balance
Each bar is one zone's share of the work. The dark line is the average — a balanced takt plan wants every zone close to it. A zone way over the line will set your takt; a zone way under wastes it.
Take Your Zone Map With You
Zoning is where takt plans are won or lost — and it's the step most teams guess. Get your density map and balance table as a PDF, or share the link with your planner.
