Who we are
Taktically Limited, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described on this page. If you have any question about it, email hello@taktically.com and it will come straight to Adeel Mirza.
What we collect
Only three things:
- Booking details. If you book a call, our booking tool asks for your name, your email address, and anything you choose to type into the notes. It also records the time you picked and your time zone.
- Cookies for advertising, if you accept them. This page is advertised on Facebook and Instagram. If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we load the Meta Pixel, which tells us that someone who saw our advert visited this page or clicked to book. If you click Reject, the pixel is never loaded.
- Standard server records. Our hosting keeps ordinary web-server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use analytics beyond the above, and we do not buy or sell personal data.
Why we use it
- To prepare for and hold our call. Your booking details are used to put the meeting in the diary, send you the joining link, and read up before we speak. The lawful basis is that you have asked us to take steps before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the meeting properly.
- To see whether our advertising works. The pixel data is used only in aggregate, to tell whether adverts are reaching the right people. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give with the Accept button and can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the site running and secure. Server logs are kept under our legitimate interest in protecting the site.
We never send personal data such as your name or email address in advertising events.
Who else sees it
- Cal.com runs the booking calendar and holds your booking details on our behalf.
- Meta receives the pixel events, but only if you accepted cookies.
- Hostinger hosts this website and holds the server logs.
Some of these companies are based outside the UK. Where that is the case, they rely on the safeguards allowed under UK data protection law for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Booking details are kept for as long as we are in contact about possibly working together, and for up to 24 months after we last spoke, so that we have a record of what was discussed. After that they are deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period in line with our host’s standard retention. Your cookie choice is stored in your own browser until you clear it.
Your choices and your rights
You can change your mind about cookies at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which removes your saved choice and shows the banner again.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we relied on it. Email hello@taktically.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this page handles personal information, we will update this policy and change the date at the top.
